When knitting patterns with envelopes, the small hills on the needle ensure that they do not slide off the needle so quickly and unintentionally. This is how the strength of angular knitting needles is determined

Our addiNovel knitting needles are equipped with the popular red rope, which is not only highly flexible, but also shows all the important information about the respective needle: In addition to the rope length, the needle size is also printed. Should there still be an uncertainty, the needle can be measured with the normal needle size from addi. To do this, insert the tip of the addiNovel into the corresponding holes in the needle gauge. If the needle slides just so, but easily, the appropriate size has been found and can be read from the needle size.

Since the circumference of a circle with the same diameter is larger than that of a square, the addiNovel should always be selected with the next higher needle size. For example, if the instructions say that a 3.0 mm needle should be used, we recommend using a 3.5 mm addiNovel. This will particularly please those who often have to use very small needle sizes due to the very loose knitting pattern.
