Yak by LANG YARNS is a luxurious premium yarn made from an elegant blend of 70% Merino extrafine and 30% yak fiber. This natural combination provides exceptional warmth, softness and a comfortably lightweight feel.
The extrafine Merino wool is sourced from mulesing-free production and is complemented by the insulating and breathable qualities of yak fiber. With approx. 120 m / 50 g and a recommended needle size of 4.5–5 mm, Yak is easy to knit and results in beautifully smooth fabrics. A medium-sized women’s sweater requires around 400 g.
